Who can watch workshop and competitions?
Observer registration is currently limited for pre-purchase for any event. We will admit additional observers if state guidelines allow. In the event observers are not permitted, we are working on live stream pop-up options for each class so that you can check out what your dancer is up to at . 


Where can I find a schedule for the day of my event?
Schedules are posted the week prior to the event. You can find each location schedule on the corresponding CITY or ______ page. Please remember that any schedule including competition times, convention classes, or teachers are subject to change at our discretion. 

Is photography permitted?
Video recording of students other than your own studio is prohibited, for the protection of both dancers and choreographers. Noncompliance will result in confiscation of recording and disqualification. Flash photography is permitted.
Please note: performers and teachers grant permission to Collide Dance Experience and Collide Talent Productions o use performer/performance photographs and video footage for advertising and promotional purposes.

Can I register as an independent ?
Yes, for both competition, intensive and pageant participant can register without a studio. For additional questions please call us at 3406266768 or email

Can I register as an Individual without my studio?

Yes. It is preferred for dancers to register with their studios, but if your studio is not attending, you are welcome to register as an individual and represent your studio.

 

Which level should my child or student be registered in?

Collide has three levels:

The minimum age to attend is 3 years old. Dancers must sign up for their age. However, we do not recommend placing dancers in a level by age alone, but by a combination of age & years of training. If you are unsure please speak to their studio direction for recommendation. Please note: For our intensive, by the second intensive class of the day students can change. No changes can be made after that.. We want the dancers leaving feeling challenged but encouraged. We’re here and happy to help find the right level for you.

For pricing, studio owners are given that information. There's an independent pricing as well for participants,. Both must create an account.

Where can I find information about Covid-19 for the 2023 season?
How we are staying safe in 2023:
Every city that we hold our event in will have different rules in terms of Covid-19.  Collide will be in close communication with all our facilities to stay current with all state guidelines. We will continue
to monitor and implement the local, state, and federal recommendations as they are announced. Through email Collide will communicate any necessary adjustments as each event approaches. You will be to update on any changes for that city.

On the day of the convention we will only accept credit card., Zelle or Square.

Do I have to pre-register for an Observers Pass?

Pre-registration is highly recommended as we limit the # of Observers in each room to maximize the space for dancers. Please know that only Tots & Petites can have observers in their room. For our Minis, Juniors, Teens, Seniors and ProAm rooms no observers are allowed. Only Studio owners, registered Teaches and Directors are allowed. Observer passes will also be available the day of the event, space permitting.

Can Family Observers & Teachers watch the Audition Class?

Studio Owners, Directors, Teachers are invited to watch audition class. All parents and family members can not attend even with Observer Passes. Collide Dance Experience would like to keep our audition class as intimate as possible. This is to help the dancers feel as comfortable in that safe and not feel the extra nerves of too many onlookers.

Can I purchase your merchandise after the event?

Absolutely! We will have merchandise for sale (unless sold out) at our merchandise booth throughout the event. All remaining merch will be made available our online store.

Are there different faculty members at each convention?

Each city will differ slightly, as our teachers and judges will be announced three weeks before the event.
